The prison opened in 1901 and closed in 1981. During those eighty years, it housed a number of dangerous criminals, including murderers, train robbers, and horse thieves.
Today, you can take a three-hour tour of the prison, which is said to be haunted. During the tour, you’ll get to check out the cells, cafeteria, and even the gas chamber.
